Heart's Quest Love Theme #3 Reminder Post
This competition period started May 14, 2022 and will end at 12:30am CST/Chicago on May 27th, 2022.
Acceptable project formats include: cards/ATCs, bookmarks/tags, journals/TN spreads, and/or scrapbook layouts. The 2 requirements for Love Theme #3 are:
*include the word 'love' or a form of it like loves, loved, loving (or another language equivalent such as amore, Coeur,...) AND
*image of a male (any age; clipart/digital image, stamp image, photo, etc.)
That's it. You pick the project format, layout, colors, supplies, and more. With high school and college graduations, USA's Father's Day in June, weddings, birthdays, etc. all of us should have a special guy to be honored.
Go on a supply quest in your stash and see what you can put together.
For the reminder post inspiration project, I used a clipart image from Clipart Library website printed as black and white on soft yellow paper to which I added some orange and magenta/fuchsia marker highlights. "With Love" and a repeated banner stamp were added to a panel of inks blended on white cardstock along with a heart traced and cut from an old patterned paper. Also an old border sticker fits perfectly with these bright cheerful colors. Soft yellow and kraft cardstocks layers complete the flat card.

Some of my treasure finds for card #2 are: The dark reddish brown stripe is a very old The Paper Studio print. It was cut and stenciled using a old Pebbles Stencil set that's about 12 years old. The jolly guy black and white image is from Clipart Library website. Ink blending/dabbing and smooshing with a makeup sponge was applied to white cardstock for the top background layer.
Now it's your turn to search your craft supplies and create some paper-crafting love for a special guy. Use the Inlinkz tool address to submit your project(s). Acceptable formats are mentioned in the rules located on this blog's sidebar. There are a wide range. They don't have to be cards. You could do a scrapbook layout, a bookmark, an ATC, etc.
