With my heart overflowing in gratitude there were 2 on target #49 projects and 2 artisans get the Best Arrows badge to share!!!

Heart's Quest Challenge Blog

#49 theme badge is shown below: must use at least 1 from each part/side of #49 badge

Theme #49 Part A: (1) soup bowl /cup/tureen

(2) wedding rings or wedding (couple) cake (topper)

(3) birthday cake/cupcake with candle(s)

PLUS 

Theme #49 Part B:  (1) 'love' or 'lovely' wood laser cut piece

(2) heart-shaped paper/cardstock

(3) use expression: "true love"

Competition #49 runs from

February 28-March 13, 2024 with start and end times of 12am CT/Chicago or 6am UK for 2 time references. Each participant can enter 3 themed projects per competition. Bragging rights are possible.

We are still needing 2 or more talented artisans to join our design team. If interested or have questions about the duty details, message Becca at

2024 theme structuring will be different. There will be list A and list B that will each have 3 options. Part A's list will be theme elements and Part B's list will be our signature heart/love choices that will vary. Each participant gets to pick at least 1 from each part to create their own theme pairing! So lots of flexibility and creative opportunities for twice per month competitions at HQCB!!!

Entry #1 from Jackie C=

*if you zoom out, Jackie used stitch line die-cut to the white heart frame edging and to the blue and white striped panel edging (part A) and has the little heart-shaped charm/button piece (part B)

and

Entry #2 from Jolanda J =

*look closely at Jolanda J's card that used embroidered fabric embossed floral die-cut pieces and also peachy-tan patterned pieces into the 7 circle die-cut panel; overall looks like a quilt (part A) and little pink heart-shaped charm/button piece (part B)

Above: DT Willa Jean's interpretation= Part A (pink as main color + thread/floss) and Part B (clear heart shaped button) ; additionally a pink round button, arrows paper, embossed hearts, paper heart, dictionary paper about heart that support theme/blog

Above: my DT/owner interpretation= quilt-looking triangle print journaling card; faux stitched lines added to honey gold triangles and under word "stitched"; thread; lots of pink (part A) and expression "our hearts are stitched together in love" (part B); additional pink glitter foam heart stickers that support theme/blog
