HQCB Top Picks Announcement for Love Theme #8 that ended 27 October 2022

Heart's Quest just ended Love Theme #8 (love and animal/animal design print) had 4 entries from 3 crafters!

HQCB Reminder Love Theme #8 with love and an animal ends 27 October 2022

This slimline card is about 8.5" wide and 4.25" deep. I tried to mix autumn colors and icons along with the 2 HQCB Love Theme requirements (2 uses of 'love' and 4 animals).

 Heartfelt Greetings to Heart's Quest Challenge Blog's Love Theme #8!!

Love Theme #8 requires the use of the word 'love' and at least 1 image of:

*animal image/animal print

Competition starts at 12:30am CT/Chicago on October 14, 2022 and ends at the same time but on October 27th. 

For bragging rights, please submit 1-3 new themed projects.

Lori met the Love Theme #8 requirements with her animal (squirrel) and usage of 'love' (love you lots). Terrific! I like this layout design! Look how the brown strip continues onto the top L corner of the R page and how the background print and paper ribbon strip continues from L page to R page!! Fabulous ways to carry prints/colors throughout the layout!

The focal's zebra print wrapped heart stamp and the "wild thing" stamp were purchased about 2 years from Sum More Fun Stamps. This was my first time to use them! Makes you want to sing that rock-n-roll song, doesn't it!?!!

I hand-wrote "I think I love you!" to meet the requirement of using the word 'love' and then that zebra animal print heart stamp qualifies for the animal image/print part of  Love Theme #8!

HQCB REMINDER Color Heart #8 use brown heart and yellow heart theme challenge ends 13 October 2022

 Hello! Heartfelt Greetings! It's midway in the competition and time for a reminder.

Heart's Quest's Color Heart #8 requires 2 colors of hearts:

*at least 1 brown heart

AND

*at least 1 yellow heart

There are many acceptable formats that you can read in the side bar rules. 

You may include more than 1 brown heart and of yellow, but the minimum is 1 of each color heart shape. Picking the format, size, sentiment, occasion, etc. is all left up to each craft artisan. And that's what we'd like to see. What's your artistic spin for these 2 heart shape colors?

*yellow checked gingham is the reverse side of the slightly larger checked gingham paper used in Project 2==Hot Off The Press/Paper Wishes website purchase

*dark brown wood siding patterned paper= Lake Life Paper Pad from Fancy Pants Design

*kraft brown with dot patterned cardstock = Webster Pages

*cow die-cut ephemera = Carta Bella, I think; or could be Echo Park; likewise for the frame die-cut

*bright yellow heart is a converted white foam heart sticker; a layer of yellow marker

*puffy acorn stickers, washi tape (possibly Pen + Gear), yellow cording, twine and dark brown textured specialty cardstock= stash

*frame is trimmed from a cut-apart from Bo Bunny

Wherever you are in the world...hello! card

*Various tones of yellow, gold, and brown are used throughout the card

*yellow/amber heart-shaped gems

*gold metallic foil die-cut heart with a layered black text heart

*a foam heart that started as white and has 3 different browns (2 markers and 1 stamp ink)

I've got the minimum # of brown heart and then extra of yellow/gold hearts to meet the theme requirements.
