Heart's Quest #47 Best Arrows bragging rights announcement on 13 February 2024

Heart's Quest Theme #47

Make your combo pair with heart/love was the theme for #47 ending on February 13, 2024.

With my heart overflowing in gratitude there were 5 on target #47 projects and 3 artisans get the Best Arrows badge to share!!!

Part A elements for #47 were perfect for Valentine/wedding/engagement/anniversary kinds of cards (Cupid, arrows, kissing lips). 

Part B heart/love options were also suited for the same (heart-shaped doily, 'you've captured my heart', or 'my loving darling'), 

Project interpretations did vary and it was fun to see what our participants put together!

The Best 3 Arrows for #47 are: Jackie C, Deanne, and Jolanda J!!!

Congratulations!!! 

In order of entry:

#1 was made by Jolanda J=

The lovely vellum die-cut floral doily is unique and yet Jolanda pierced it with the arrow! 

Must be true love!

and

#3 was made by Deanne=

On Deanne's project I loved how the lace almost matches the doily for a subtle effect contrasted with the darkness of the Cupid silhouette!

and

#5 was made by Jackie C=

The birds kissing lips/beaks brought a smile to my face!

And the whole image looks like a heart-shaped doily! Very special!

Thanks ladies for outstanding combinations using the #46 badge!

Competition #47 runs from

January 28-February 13, 2024 with start and end times of 12am CT/Chicago or 6am UK for 2 time references.

Each participant can enter 3 themed projects per competition. 

Bragging rights are possible.

2024 theme structuring will be different. There will be list A and list B that will each have 3 options. Part A's list will be theme elements and Part B's list will be our signature heart/love choices that will vary. Each participant gets to pick at least 1 from each part to create their own theme pairing! So lots of flexibility and creative opportunities for twice per month competitions at HQCB!!!
