Lori met the Love Theme #8 requirements with her animal (squirrel) and usage of 'love' (love you lots). Terrific! I like this layout design! Look how the brown strip continues onto the top L corner of the R page and how the background print and paper ribbon strip continues from L page to R page!! Fabulous ways to carry prints/colors throughout the layout!

The focal's zebra print wrapped heart stamp and the "wild thing" stamp were purchased about 2 years from Sum More Fun Stamps. This was my first time to use them! Makes you want to sing that rock-n-roll song, doesn't it!?!!

I hand-wrote "I think I love you!" to meet the requirement of using the word 'love' and then that zebra animal print heart stamp qualifies for the animal image/print part of  Love Theme #8!

HQCB REMINDER for Love Theme #7 using Love and Flower(s)

Love Theme #7 has reached its midway point in this competition period.

*at least 1 flower image

from FQCB owner Becca S= I've created this bedazzled card for a cousin's son who I was told this weekend has only 2-4 weeks left to live. He's been fighting several cancers for under 2 years. He turns 46 on Tuesday Sept 20th. I'm going to get it mailed to him hopefully on the 19th or 20th with prayers that it reaches him and his wife before he passes. It's bright colors and flowers and butterfly are feminine but the Scripture verse is what drew me to pick for the feature:

*Freckled Fawn= alpha tile stickers (a light mint green)

*Studio G = for butterfly aperture mauve card base

*Crown Jewlz' = Prayer Cards set; 1 of 20; I'm using about 80% of the card.

A 1" wide strip from the left side off-cut was used on the inside with more alpha tiles to vertically say "Praying"

The gem bling, layered butterfly stick-on, and striped print paper behind the butterfly aperture are old stash items.

The center focal 'doily' was traced from a stencil and hole-punched; then another 2 stencils were stamped/painted on top. The little triangle points were outlined. "LOVE" was another stamp. Bright pink posy stickers added. Some die-cuts and paper flower stick-ons along with a banner quote complete this dramatic pink, red, and black floral love theme card!

Love Theme #7 requirements were met with the usage of the LOVE stamp, the banner quote "All You Need Is LOVE", floral stamp/stencil, posy stickers, die-cut pink and red rose, and 3 paper flowers!!! Wow! A lot packed into this bold card.

I've used the same Cupid stamp as seen below and also on a bonus/extra post. (Sum More Fun purchase) The "gotcha" stamp is also part of a Sum More Fun set. Red, taupe, and the chevron/arrow point print scraps are from my stash. Black cardstock base dimensions are 4.25" x 5.5". The black 'diamond' decorative tape and 3 clear crystal gems along with either red or black inking to the cardstock edges are the finishing touches. 

Oh! And I hand lettered the "my love" phrase under "gotcha" to get that theme element requirement onto the card.

I seriously raided the scraps to put this together. Hand-lettering for 'to', 'my', and 'love'. "HB" is an old 2001 Stampin' Up wood stamp. 

Now it's your turn to hurry your quest for all things Cupid or Angel! It will be fun to see how Cupid can be used all year long. I thought of an idea to see Cupid, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus all together...wouldn't that be fun?!!!?! You can also create angel-themed cards. Those could be for religious sympathy, or Christmas, or church choir/music, and lots of other occasions/topics.

Deanne's done an excellent job of combining Christmas in July competitions with the love for travel/transport challenge of Heart's Quest. The background paper has more transportation modes and then the large focal has the pickup truck hauling the cut pine tree. Excellent! It's tree-rific!!!

Entry #2 by "Granmargaret": "Sending All Our Love"

Granmargaret has crafted a cheery card that is perfect to send to someone that has just taken a cruise vacation or lives on a coast or taken a ferry boat ride. I like how the colors of the heart echo colors of the boat image. Such a joyful card!

Isn't this terrific!!! The sentiment is perfect! Having 'love' printed on the little tag that is clipped within the cording of the other tag is such clever placement. The little travel camper die-cut is too cute! Wouldn't this be fun to have displayed inside your camper on future trips!!! The tags make me think of luggage tags! Owner Becca S inspiration project=

a few credits for the mini slimline card are: mesh, wood flip flops, and wood fish were bought at Dollar Tree; there are 2 blue scraps from my stash; and the patterned papers are reverse sides of the same sheet from the Lake Life paper pad by Fancy Pants Design (2019).

My included elements:

*love was written in on the text patterned cardstock section

and

*travel/transport items are the fishing lures print cardstock, the word 'lake', use the flip flops for walking at the lake or maybe boating; and a fish with some mesh/faux net for more water locations/destinations like a lake, pond, creek, ....

With a heart overflowing in gratitude, for my mom's older sister and brother-in-law that took me and my sister along with their 3 boys (our cousins) camping in a pickup truck bed with loft space on top of the cab style camper to a state park!!! We got to take turns going out in their small row boat to fish! That was many, many years ago! What a sweet memory traveling about an hour away from where we lived to spend a couple of days near the lake!

Magnificent scrapbook layout combining "love" and travel/transport!!! She's got so many travel/transport elements: compass rose, hot air balloon, old car image, lighthouse image, fabulous vacation photos, and many more! Lots of details . I'm loving the large heart and gold heart clip and there's also the word 'love' on the left side! Leslie's made a wonderful keepsake treasure!!!
