It's reveal time for the theme called Color Heart #5. #5's required color is red.

*use a red heart shape

AND

*have 60-99% red usage throughout the project

June 28, 2022 to July 13, 2022

Competition starts at 12:30am Central time/Chicago which is 6:30am UK.

Competition ends at same time on July 13.

A midway reminder post will also be made to help crafters remember to go on their stash quests to discover what and how they can use red.

Acceptable formats cover most paper-crafting formats: cards, ATCs, tags, bookmarks, journals/planners, TN spreads, and various scrapbook layout sizes and types!

For design inspiration, Guest Designer is Pamela Hecht.

Pamela's creative processes:

a. her greeting card has a gel print created with acrylic paints

b. red polka dot washi tape and paper stencil tape were added on the side along with twine

c. words, large red ink stenciled heart with red glitter were the finishing touches

Some personal info:

I became acquainted online with Pamela earlier this year when another online crafting friend suggested I join a FB group set up as a card and ATC only making swap group. (For The Love of Cards--it's limited to 25 members and it's not capped out yet, so if interested, come and join the group). In just a short time, Pamela's impressed me with her creative ideas that she morphs into the tiny size ATCs. Here's more about her that she shared with me =

Pamela Hecht: has lived for 20 years in the Upper Michigan Peninsula on an island known for its past copper mining. Pamela and her husband are now retired but are still very busy. They love to travel and collect minerals, fossils, and stones. They still own their breakfast café which has a craft market space where she sells her artistic work. Pamela stays active in paper arts, collage, photography, nature jewelry, metalsmithing, encaustic and acrylic painting. Her heart's happy when she can inspire others through her art and also loves to teach others to discover and develop their art skills.

She does not have a blog or Instagram account but is on Facebook and co-owner/administrator of For The Love of Cards group.

Since she's not a blogger, I have permission to show these 2 photos of her more fantastic artistry:

first oil painting created on June 25th at a workshop with Steve Ross, son of famous Bob Ross!!! The session was 6 hours. Pretty amazing, isn't it?!?!!!

Owner/Becca S design inspiration project is a new TN with the 1st spread=

This Scripture passage was day 1 of May suggested Bible writing journaling prompt from FB group CCMWF. The sketch layout is from Lisa H with TN Times May 2022. The usage of washi tape (light blue with white dots) and circles is Lori's requirement with TN Times May 2022. HQCB's requirements of red heart and usage of red just seemed to be a perfect way to connect all these pieces. Credits: Scripture~images.com website for the verse photo image; poppy patterned paper is from the Mint Berry paper pad by The Paper Studio; gray and white checked gingham paper is from Hot Off The Press. Light blue ribbon-like washi tape's packaging was unmarked. TN insert is by Carta Bella/Bloom. More details on my blog.
